Q: Am I eligible to participate in the Global Entry program?
A: You can participate in the Global Entry program if you are a U.S. citizen, a US lawful
permanent residents, Dutch, South Korean, UK, German, Qatari citizens and Mexican
national. In case you are a Canadian citizen or resident member of the NEXUS program you are automatically entitled to Global Entry program benefits.
Q: If I am a US permanent resident, which document do I use at the Global Entry
Kiosk?
A: U.S. lawful permanent residents must use their I-551 permanent resident card at the Global Entry kiosk.
Q: At which airports can I benefit from expedited screening?
A: Most major US international airports have Global Entry kiosks; all locations are listed at http://www.globalentry.gov/locations.html
Q: What do I do if the Global Entry kiosk issues me a receipt marked with an?
A: If In this case please report to a CBP officer at the nearest staffed CBP passport control
booth. They will review your documents, determine the reason for the "X" and either release you from there or refer you to "secondary" for additional processing.
Q: What is the Global Entry program cost?
A: There is an application fee of $100 USD per applicant. We take care of your application
process all the way from creating your account to booking your Global Entry appointment. Our service charge is $169.95 on top of the $100 government fee.
Q: Why are you charging $169.95 on top of the $100 application fee?
A: Our experts handle your application to ensure that it is processed quickly, and without
errors. You can choose to apply directly using the standard government service.
Q: Will I need to be interviewed again when I renew my program membership?
A: An interview for program membership renewal may not be necessary. Once you submit your renewal, application and fee, check your TTP account periodically for updates on what actions are necessary to complete the renewal process. You will receive an email when your membership status changes.
Q: Can my family members accompany me in the fast lines?
A: Each and every person must have their own Global Entry approval to bypass the
Immigration line after international flights even babies and newborns.
Q: Does membership in the Global Entry program give me also TSA Precheck?
A: Yes. If you are approved for Global Entry, NEXUS or SENTRI, you are automatically
qualified to participate in TSA Precheck when flying a participating airline at a participating airport.
Q: Does the name on my airline reservation have to match the name on my application?
A: Yes. The name submitted on your airline reservation must be an exact match to the name you provided on your application. If you use a frequent flyer account or online travel profile, ensure that your name is properly saved.
Q: How do I use my known traveler number or KTN?
A: Once you have been assigned a KTN, you must include this number in each reservation
you make with a participating airline. The KTN also can be added when booking reservations online via a participating airline website, by phone or with an airline reservation agent. We recommend that you save your KTN to any frequent flyer profiles, employer booking systems or online travel websites that you use.
Q: Who can apply for TSA PreCheck?
A: The TSA PreCheck application program membership is only open to U.S. citizens, U.S.
nationals and lawful permanent residents. Applicants may be ineligible due to incomplete or false application information, violations of transportation security regulations, or disqualifying criminal offenses and factors.
Q: Will I receive an ID card to use TSA PreCheck lanes?
A: No. A TSA PreCheck indicator will be printed on your boarding pass and embedded in the barcode if you are eligible for TSA PreCheck on your flight. When airport officials scans your boarding pass at the security checkpoint, you may be referred to a TSA PreCheck lane. Although members of Global Entry, NEXUS, and SENTRI may be issued a card when
approved for the program, you cannot use these cards to access the TSA PreCheck lane.
Q: I am traveling with my family/colleagues; can they also use the TSA PreCheck lane?
A: Children ages 12 and younger may use the TSA PreCheck™ lane when traveling with a
parent or guardian who has the indicator on their boarding pass. Travelers 13 and older who do not have a TSA PreCheck™ boarding pass must go through standard security lanes or apply.
